Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your ClearHouseHQ account and the data associated with it at any time. During the pilot, deletion is handled by the founder directly to make sure nothing important is lost by accident.

What "Delete" Means

When you request deletion, we remove the following from active production systems:

• Your account profile and login credentials
• Your incidents, evidence files, communications, and bundles
• Personal contact information (name, email, phone)

What We Keep (and Why)

• Financial records. Stripe-side transaction history is retained as required by tax and accounting law.
• Audit logs. Security-relevant access logs may be retained for up to 12 months for fraud and abuse investigations.
• Backups. Encrypted database backups roll off on their normal schedule (up to 30 days). Restored data from a backup will be re-deleted on the next backup cycle.

How To Request Deletion

1. Email privacy@clearhousehq.com from the email address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account".
2. Include the email address on your account and confirm you want all incidents and uploaded evidence permanently removed.
3. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, sooner in most cases.

Export Your Data First

Before requesting deletion, download any bundles you want to keep. Once deletion is processed, your bundles cannot be regenerated.

You can also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate data. Use the same email address above and describe what you need.
